#Abstract
Making narratives is a feature which has always distinguished Anglo-Saxon museology. During the last few years museums have witnessed a growing approach to the use of cinematographic narrative strategies, with a competitive drive, fed by a context of crisis initiated with the 9/11 terrorist attacks and maintained by the financial predicament set off in 2008. However, none of that is seen in Mediterranean museology, accentuating the historic chain of differences among both approaches.
