#A Propósito de uma Exposição sobre Amílcar Pinto : Idéias de Museu na Cidade

#Abstract
We propose a brief presentation of the work of architect Amílcar Pinto, which was the subject of a recent research, and also the methodology we used. Then we intend to reflect on the way which the research supports the approach of our exhibition proposals. Therefore this is mainly a project for spreading knowledge on Amílcar Pinto (a rediscovered architect) by the construction of a temporary exhibition. The model of this event foretells the creation of the exhibition inside of one of the works of the architect - the Café Central in Santarem (currently closed to the public). In this way we assume the architectonical space, while a design of Amílcar Pinto, as an object of the exhibition program. From a theoretical viewpoint we propose that this experience can serve to two lines of thought. The first linked to the exhibition space. Discussing ways and the possibilities of the "museum come to town” and holds its activities in different spaces of everyday life. The second approach is related to the subject of the exhibition. In fact, besides the artistic work we also want to show a glimpse of everyday life of Amílcar Pinto.
