#Abstract
The Penafiel Municipal Museum, formally established on 17 April 1948, was transfered for it’s new building on March 2009, and with the new house came a new Permanent Exhibition. The museographical handling of the items in the new permanent exhibition was first and foremost an exercise in ensuring that the stands were suited to the nature and display of the articles, where the singularity of each space has been metaphorically exploited.
