#Abstract
This work is originated from a research developed with the support of National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq, Brazil). In order to analyze science museums exhibitions from the perspective of scientific divulgation, the text stresses the roles and specificities of museums collections and raises issues about the use of musealized objects in scientific divulgation actions. The research, carried out from 2007 in Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), focuses on the exhibition as a component of musealization processes in the realm of sciences. The approach imposes the emphasis on the objects of museum collections and their inclusion in exhibitions.
