#Abstract
Presentation of the master's degree project in Medieval History, entitled Palmela in the late Middle Ages - the study of the codex of the visitation of the Order of Santiago of 1510. This is a first draft of the project, showing the lines of historiographical framing of the topic, and general organization of the work: a study of the codex itself, its documentary typology and internal organization; analysis of rural and urban landscapes of the commendation of Palmela; and, finally, the study of the human component of this territory, with emphasis given to the religious practices.
