#Abstract
In this work, an analysis will be made regarding the image of Isabella «la Católica», which has been passed through the centuries. In the same way, the idea that protest poetry did not exist in the Catholic kingdom will be discussed. This will be attempted through the analysis of Carajicomedia, an anonymous poem published en 1519 in the Cancionero de obras de burlas provocantes a risa. Based on the theories of Carlos Varo, who caught the publics attention in 1981 with the strong criticism of Queen Isabella in this poem, that will be analysed supports his strong news.
