#Abstract
This article aims to a re?ection about the humanist contribution to a geography that legitimises the subjective dimension of space when applied to the interpretation of health-disease framings and also to the health care that is attributed to them in those contexts. Therefore, we shall present the main theoretical and methodological framings that design the cultural construction of space and health, not without, beforehand, revisit the concepts of disease and in?rmity, by (re)discussing the concepts of place and landscape – in their cognitive construction, within a trans-cultural, polysemic, plural conception of space.
