Aprendizagem e processos de identificação no espaço social do trabalho : estudo de caso num grupo empresarial do sector electromecânico
AbstractThis research focuses mainly on the problematic of learning in work contexts. We try to understand how and through which ways one learns inside companies, how and under which conditions knowledge is mobilised and how workers´ identification forms and manifestations are characterized. The research goals have been attained inside one industrial company belonging to a holding company, both of them located in the North of Portugal. The company produces electric motors, generators and transformers. From a technical-methodological perspective, a case-study research was developed. Several research techniques were mobilised, namely interviews to administrators, managers and workers and direct observation of labour activities and document analysis. Due to the research nature as well as to the methodological strategy, we also point out clues for future analysis in order to attain a better understanding of some of the transformation processes which characterize the work sphere in contemporary societies.
