Investigar en educación museística : analizando las concepciones de arte e interpretación de la galería Tate Britain
AbstractThis paper presents the doctoral research "Conceptions on art and interpretation in the educational discourses and practices at Tate Britain in London" defended in 2009 at the Public University of Navarra. The dissertation examines the meaning-making traditions that are used in educational discourse and practise of Tate Britain in London, and the ideas about art and the comprehension of aesthetics with which they correspond. The paper describes the research purposes and hypotheses and explains in more depth the methodology used, specifying theoretical issues but also others related to the method of data collection and the design and implementation of the analytical devise. In addition, a summary of the conclusions of the investigation is presented.
