#Abstract
In this paper, I will reflect upon the undeniable responsibility of Museology and Museums in the dissemination of ethical values, mentioning the place that museums now occupy, their roles and what the community expects from them. In particular, I will dwell upon the power of communication and the importance of transmitting Honesty, Modesty, Fairness, Equality, Solidarity, Liberty and the predilection for Truth – through the actions of those of us who work within this field- as the only way to respond to social needs today, and as an investment for future generations. Key words: Museum. Museology. Ethical values.
