#Abstract
Analysis of some visions before the second half of the 20th century that intended to create museums or gigantic libraries that could control the artistic memory of the humanity, before the true development of the technologies of the information and communication after the Second World War. Among these visionaries would be Aby Warburg, Paul Otlet, Le Corbusier or Henri Focillon, some of them precursors of postmodern museums and the new parameters to manage art information in museums.
