Contributos para a compreensão do «Efeito Professor TEIP» : proposta de um programa de pesquisa

AbstractBased on issues analysed in previous investigations (Melo, 2009 e Melo, 2010), this paper presents a research program proposal enabling the detection of «teacher effects» that may express good organizational and pedagogical practices in Educational Priority Areas (EPA). Accordingly, three lines of investigation are suggested: i) analysis of teaching-learning relationships in EPA and variables that may characterize a «good teachers»; ii) identification of types of organizational culture and models of managing and leadership; iii) study of student’s representations toward the pedagogical strategies of their teachers. Finally, an appropriate mixed methodological strategy is pointed out in order to obtain results that may encompass the whole universe of EPA schools.
