#Abstract
Television is an important media, both in the sphere of entertainment, as in the sphere of information. It is precisely on the latter that we will lean on throughout this paper, based on an investigation anchored in the analysis of the content and structure of forty-six emissions of prime time television news of two Portuguese television channels - RTP1 and TVI – through which we tried reveal the main similarities and asymmetries between them.
