#Abstract
Diversity is one feature of contemporary societies, and immigration has contributed greatly to the increase of diversity. One common way to approach this phenomenon has been to look at the so-called integration of immigrants, however it has limitations. A new approach is to look at how intercultural conviviality occurs at the local level (city/neighbourhood), that is how quotidian relations among autochthonous and immigrants take place. This article reflects on some theoretical aspects around quotidian conviviality and super-diversity, and their empirical applications in multi-sited ethnographies, in two neighbourhoods in the LMA, as part of an international research project.
