#Abstract
Based on the research carried out on the professional integration processes of university degree holders, the article intends to clarify their different configuration given the degree holder gender. We verified that female degree holders experience more frequently (along their way) unemployment, contractual precariousness and lower wage levels. This, despite their more notorious academic investment substantiated by higher grades and by the fact of being the majority among the degree holders concluding the course within the minimum curricular time. Thus, there is some dissociation between academic success and the success at professional integration, as the case of female degree holders clearly exemplifies.
