#Abstract
Classified as a literary-scientific genre heir of the Aristotelian problemata, the books about religious problems constitute an important corpus of texts in which the material implication of the speech, proposing a question (doubt/problem) and an answer (solution), establishes a wide range of theological questions. In this paper the author analyses this particular literary genre and presents an inventory of the texts published in the 16th Century, some of which were object of censorship by the Spanish Inquisition and therefore prohibited.
