#Abstract
In this work we study the prophetic aspects of several poems dedicated to the Spanish Catholic Kings, and in particular to don Fernando, conqueror of Granada, a figure prematurely associated with Saint Fernando, the conqueror of Seville. The themes of prophecy and providence found in these poems are clearly used by their authors, such as Juan De Encina, as a propagandistic weapon against each other for their self-promotion, taking advantage of the atmosphere of that particular period.
