#Abstract
A vast number of works produced in Portugal and Spain during the second half of the 19th century frequently described the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries. One of the most interesting aspects depicted are the frequent journeys by Portuguese and Spanish intellectuals – amongst others – between both Iberian countries. This article focuses specifically on the texts by Portuguese travellers through Spain during the last quarter of the 19th century.
