#Abstract
Our vast Baroque literary heritage continues to reveal known and unknown authors who need more in-depth studies of literature critic and history. Miguel Colodrero de Villalobos, follower of the Gongorist style and author of a number of satirical poems, is the author studied in this paper, namely of his poems dedicated to issues related to the Old Testament, a theme not often find in his work nor in the lyric from that period.
