#Abstract
Air transport has experienced strong growth in the post World War II, with a very strong impact in the 60s of last century. With the deregulation of the same in the European Union, he gained a momentum which led to an accelerated development of its strong reliance on land as in the case of aerodromes. On this basis there are some concepts - aerodrome, airport, airport-city and aerotropólis - clarify that matter in order to avoid duplication and to utilize technical concepts more appropriate because it also for the air transport details are crucial.
