#Abstract
This paper deals with England´s cultural space in the 1890s: decadence and symbolism constitute the common denominators of european literary and ar-tistic trends during the last two decades of the nineteenth-century. In this wide context, Wilde, Symons and Pater give us the main issues for a definition of fin-de-siècle literature in England.
