#Abstract
With this article, the author concerns the "Urban Space in Braga in the midlle of the 18th century". He analysed both the urban morphological structure, selected from the Mappa das Ruas de Braga — 1750, and the information of the emphyteutic contracts celebreted by the "Cabido" of the Cathedral of Braga which are patent in the Indices dos Prazos das Casas. Thus, the author isolated some urban structures in order to present an expressive and brief reconstitution of the morphological and funcional bases of 18th century Braga.
