#Abstract
Using as a starting point Yeats' comment, in a letter to Ezra Pound, that "A Vision" would proclaim a new divinity, this article looks into certain methodological and critical questions, before ascertaining the limits between the poetic afirmation and the visionary and prophetic revelation.
