Sociologia: Revista da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, accepts proposals of texts of different nature for publication:
Article – original text that has the objective of presenting works based on grounded research. Cannot exceed 50.000 characters.
Research note – presents the preliminary results of an ongoing research project, giving relevance to the methodological aspects. 20.000 characters maximum.
Bibliographical essay – in relation to a determined issue, critically discusses a series of works, often setting up as a "state of the art". 20.000 characters maximum.
Book review – critical review of a book published recently. 8.000 characters maximum.
The texts may be submitted in Portuguese, French, Spanish and English.
The journal publishes a thematic number each year. Proposals can be submitted accordingly and will be subject to review.
