#A escultura ancestral no Sudeste Asiático como expressão cultural

#Abstract
Southeast Asia has been, throughout its history, a land of passage and arrival of populations from different regions. Embodied by a set of beliefs, customs, ideas and values, it is from its cultural expression, in other words, from its cultural content (symbolic and artistic), that we aim to reflect, specially, on its ancestral sculpture. Aiming that the present article constitutes the first balance of the research in progress, it was possible from the crossing of references and several illustrations, to identify the similarities that make up this cultural expression among the different societies that constitute the region, in relation to the influences and shares that these manifestations were evidenced in these sculptures.
