#Abstract
This paper addresses the situation of the rehabilitation of neighbourhoods in Galicia (NW Spain), focusing on the methodology for the preparation of justifying reports (called Memorias-programa) to demonstrate the need for rehabilitation. These reports are necessary for the declaration of Integrated Rehabilitation Area in degraded neighbourhoods regarding demographic, socio-economic and environmental aspects.
