#Abstract
This study presents a comparative analysis of employability with professional training in Tourism/Hospitality in Brazil and Portugal, in the perspective of sustainable economic development. This is a post-doctoral research, motivated by the need to broaden a discussion on the relationship between Tourism training and employability in the labor market, with the aim of analyzing the formation of the professional Tourism/Hospitality is contributing to the employability of these professionals in the labor market. For this research, in support of the theoretical approach was used information from publications stats responsible for, including the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Tourism of Portugal and the Ministry of Tourism of Brazil tourism policy public body as studies employability in the hospitality sector, as well as similar surveys conducted by academic studies and publications, from a bibliographical research in the field of tourism and hospitality in the area of vocational training and qualifications and should make these concerns part of the differentiating strategies practice and image of tourism and hotel organizations.
