#Abstract
After we have analysed some French and Romanian handbooks in economics and the practice of the French and Romanian enterprises, we have found differences especially in the utilisation of certain concepts. Concepts as: the self-financing capacity, the intermediary management balances, the economic profitability and the financial profitability have, in the practice, slightly different meanings. For the professional duty we have analysed even the key principles based on which it operates in France and in Romania and a comparison we have performed between these key principles applied in the practice of the two countries.
