#Abstract
We live in an increasingly global context, where city habits flood us, without leaving us indifferent, we consider it most pertinent to question our students about their conception of cities and the problems that affect them. We launched, in this way, this challenge from the guiding questions "After all, what will the Cities of the Future be like? Are they the way we idealize them today? And why do not these Sustainable, Inclusive and Intelligent Cities exist today? Are they only Imaginary and Utopian that we can not transform into Real and Concrete? " With the aim to answer the previous questions, we select a diversified sample, who we launch these challenges. With a distinct socioeconomic characteristic, respecting only, as a common characteristic the age group and education level where they were, that study was developed in two municipalities of the Greater Porto Metropolitan Area (Porto and Paredes).This study was materialized in an inquiry in the questioner way and their analysis. The information for us obtained let us to conclude that the students have general perception about Environmental Sustainability and about the urgency e pertinence of these goals at the school. In despite of, exist a long way to go in achieving the goals of Citizenship Education, in the Sustainable Development. The School has, here, a basilar role.
