#Abstract
The pastoral novel A Primavera of Francisco Rodrigues Lobo, presents us elaborated scenarios, artificially conventionalized and codified where takes place the initiatory journey of the protagonist Lereno, subjugated to the setbacks of the process of existential and spiritual sublimation through the idealization of love of neoplatonic inspiration in which earthly beauty is a manifestation of a superior existance. Ekphrasis is one of the resources used in the expression and representation of these literary «scenic» spaces where the action takes place and that use references to alegoric «frames» and to descriptive «moments» of nature and mitology, with artistic and architectoral elements, that belong to a pastoral pictorical descriptive tradition, sometimes included in alegoricall-emblematic sequences.
