#Abstract
Against the background of the plasticity of the subject of the Christ the Good Shepherd, this study seeks to draw attention to the ways in which, in the context of the Counter-Reformation, its actualization was observed, declined in the revaluation of the holiness model «embodied» by the bishop, in line with the Tridentine guidelines, who favored the exaltation of the evangelical spirit, pastoral zeal and healing of souls, taking as reference the conciliar decrees.
