#Abstract
«Filmosophy» is a «manifesto for a radical new way of understanding cinema». It is, therefore, a particular way of glimpsing a cinematographic piece of work, re-purposing it for the parallel universe of the seventh art. It is a way of approaching filmmaking as a daring subject, reclaiming the independence that is acquired through adulthood and conceiving the camera as an «autonomous eye», going so far as to oppose the filmmaker’s intentions. It invites the creative endeavors of the viewer to interpret the signs that walk freely through the big screen, articulating links between what is seen in the film and the personal interpretation of the world that is held by each individual.
