#Abstract
The presented work has aims to study the marital mobility in the parish of São Miguel de Gualtar, integrated into the municipality of Braga, in a microanalytical perspective with a long duration (17th and 20th centuries). The observation of marriage mobility will allow us to assess: its magnitude through the analysis of inbreeding rates and exogamy, its geographic orientation, and the understanding of the various mechanisms that limit or make inter-individual communication flow, in pre-industrial populations.
