#Abstract
It is understood as a miracle an event that defies the normal course of nature, which, surpassing all rational explanations, gets greatly attached to the supernatural and the divine. In this study, are analysed and typed the miracles of two medieval “Portuguese” saints, St. Rudesind and St. Gerald of Braga, in an attempt to know a little better the society they fall within the categories of the miracles to be found, without neglecting a brief study of their lives and a comparison between the Portuguese hagiographic production, according to the two case studies, and the remaining European production.
