#Abstract
This paper explores and emphasizes the formal and informal networks, licit and illicit, on the framework of India State. Furthermore, it is intended to show the mechanisms, to which individuals resorted to practice fraudulent schemes, and the ones used to solve that problems. Lastly, it will try to understand who were the agents that acted fraudulently and whether they included power people within the Administration of the State of India. To debate such questions, sources like the Padroado Português do Oriente, the Cartas do Vice-Rei D. Afonso de Albuquerque, and the Soldado Prático will be used. With different typologies, origins and purposes – their cross-analysis will be taken as an asset for the historiographic work.
