AbstractBased on examination of the document Remissió general a l’insult e robo de la morería de 1455, the article proposes an analysis of the logic and historical features that encouraged this phenomenon. The attack of 1455 shows how an event occurred for ideological reasons took root in the main contradictions of the Kingdom of Valencia and in the role of the Saracens in the territory studied. We shall complement our documentary analysis with the records of the Manuals de Consell from the Municipal Archive of Valencia and the Royal Chancellery of the Archive of the Kingdom of Valencia, we shall also use published documentation from historiography production that deals with the subject.
