#Abstract
This research focuses on understanding the facades of the churches of the colleges, of the novitiates and of professes house that the Society of Jesus had in Lisbon, founded in the 1st phase of its establishment in Portugal, from various iconographic types: maps, charts, plans and elevations. Greater contribution to understanding elevations, cartography, when accurate, allows the understanding of the diversity of plants, as well as irregularities and even organic situations subsequently reflected in the drawing of facades.
