#Abstract
A specialized Bibliography about João Ferreira de Almeida (JFA 1628-1691) gives greater relevance to his efforts of the Holy Bible translation into the Portuguese language than in highlight his character and life. In this article, we will articulate the scarce biographic data with a new approach using Portuguese sources which had not been considered before. We organized and suggested a Biographic Reconstruction of the Educational Path of the young JFA.
