#Representações da aristocracia nas crónicas de Pero López de Ayala e Fernão Lopes : apresentação de um projeto de dissertação de mestrado

#Abstract
The present article presents our master’s degree thesis project. Essentially based on methodological questions, it is proposed to analyze the representations of the aristocracy in three chronicles of two different chroniclers: Don Juan I and Don Enrique III chronicles, written by Pero López de Ayala; and the two parts of Dom João I chronicle, by Fernão Lopes. In order to do that, I have started by analyzing some lexical subjects, so that the aristocratic figures could be framed not only in their social group, but also inside the narrative. Also, it is important to focus on the relations between those figures, especially in what concerns the resistance to the royal power and the internal social divisions.
